Find out what the beaten jockeys made of their runs in the Group Three San Domencio Stakes at Rosehill Gardens.
Blake Shinn (Pariah): “We’ve always had the belief that he was a top liner and he narrowly missed the Blue Diamond, but we really thought he had made nice progression to a three-year-old.”
Hugh Bowman (Taking Aim): “Good first up run.”
Brenton Avdulla (Chauffeur): “He was terrific. He jumped well but he’s just got no speed, he wanted to relax, tracked Pariah everywhere he went and his best work was his last 50m.”
Tim Clark (Condor Heroes): “He’ll improve with the run.”
Rachel King (Speed Street): “Not a bad run first up, probably just got a little bit tired the last 100m.”
Josh Adams (Another Sin): “He just raced like a tired horse. He’s done a good job this prep but it was a hard race and probably the two week back up didn’t help a horse that’s as young as him.”
Corey Brown (Madeenaty): “Ran great. Probably just peaked on her run with about 100m to go but she’ll improve out of sight on that.”
Glyn Schofield (Jorda): “Needed a run, couldn’t find it but she hit the line well.”
Pariah resumed with a bang
All of the results and replays for Rosehill Gardens on Saturday Jay Ford (Perast): “He’s actually going better than it looks, he just wants further and a race where he can control it.”
