Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Precise Air Neville Sellwood Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Chad Schofield (Ceolwulf): “Sticky draw and had to be a little bit decisive. We were giving some decent horses weight and I thought the only way that we can get beat is if we give him too much to do.
“After he jumped cleanly I let him stride forward. He beat the draw and then relaxed in the one-one. He ended up getting out nice and early.
“It was tradesman-like. He had a lot of weight and was giving decent horses weight.
“I know he ran second in a Derby on a bottomless track but I think he’s better on top of the ground.”

Tyler Schiller (Our Gold Hope): “She was probably a touch unlucky. She bungled the start when we were hoping to be a bit more positive with the light weight. Once that happened I had to ride her for luck. She found the line awfully strongly.”
Tim Clark (Just Fine): “Terrific performance second up. I think he has more improvement to come.”
Josh Parr (Bois D'argent): “I think obtaining cover would have been the difference. It might have been a length or two up my sleeve and we could have fought out the finish.”
Jason Collett (Zarakem): “Had a wide run. Just offered very little when the pressure was applied.”
Regan Bayliss (Hezashocka): “He ran really well. I think now he is looking for 2400m.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Palmetto): “I thought he ran a great race. Just a little bit tight there on the rail.
Not sure he loved that. Last 100m was nice work.”
Tom Marquand (Gear Up): “Travelled around great on the back of the eventual winner. Just lost them at the 600m when the gear all changed.”
Rachel King (Touristic): “Massive run. Good to see him bounce back to form and continue that from today.”
Tommy Berry (Medatsu): “I think he is more an Albury/Wagga Gold Cup sort of a horse. Not quite up to that level. They were a bit sharp for him. A little bit of head gear on next start he will be very competitive.”
