Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 TAB Light Fingers Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
Zac Lloyd (Lady Shenandoah): “You don’t get that feeling often. She is a pleasure to ride and it’s an honour to ride these types of horses for Mr Waller.
“Happy I could get the job done, but she makes my life easier.
“In her second trial Mr Waller said, ‘close to a speeding ticket there’ but she just does it so easily you don’t really know how fast you’re going. She just glides over the ground, she’s got the most efficient action. She came around that bend and you just feel like it’s ‘game over’.
“She is a very nice filly.”

Tim Clark (Lady Of Camelot): “She ran really well. I was very pleased with her performance.”
Tyler Schiller (Lilac): “Great run second-up. She had the fitness under her belt to go forward today a bit more and I thought she toughed it out really well. I think she’s going to be better suited over further.”
Jason Collett (Manaal): “Bit disappointed in her performance. Didn’t travel like she should have and just didn’t have the horse there when I needed it. Wasn’t strong late.”
Jay Ford (Lazzura): “Really good return. She always punches above her weight. She’s run well again.”
Jordan Childs (Silmarillion): “Disappointing. Had a nice run but couldn’t find the line.”
Reece Jones (Amelita): “She was super first-up. She’s come back well.”
Josh Parr (Castanya): “I’m pleased with that effort. I think she can build a nice prep off that.”
Adam Hyeronimus (Declichy Boulevard): “She’s a beautiful filly. She’ll be better once she gets out over a little bit further and she’s definitely stakes grade. So her race will come.”
Chad Schofield (Shohisha): “Really nice run. She’s improving all the time and I think she’ll be more suited out to seven furlongs.”
Kerrin McEvoy (Dance To The Boom): “We weren’t able to slot in there and it just made the job a little bit harder. As long as she pulls up fine you go to 1400 metres and hopefully she can get a better run in transit.”
Alysha Collett (Rag Queen): “She wants further.”
Regan Bayliss (Phenom): “Probably just wasn’t quite up to those quality fillies first-up.”
