It was a three horse war for the last 400m and Burning Passion had a bit more resolve in the final stride to claim victory - the last two winners of this race have gone on to Group 1 wins.
Find out what the jockeys made of their horses’ runs in the Group 3 Hall Mark Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
Josh Parr (Burning Passion): “I didn’t begin all that well, but I was so adamant to go forward and make our own luck.
“It was Dothraki that I had to get into a fight with so I was pretty confident, he’s like a Twitter troll that you would get to see in real life, he would run and hide.
“A running double for the same stable, it’s terrific and what a beautiful animal he is.”

Adam Hyeronimus (Got Unders): “ It was a good first up run.”
Jason Collett (Isorich): “Would have been better just letting him roll.”
Brenton Avdulla (Firsthand): “He ran well first up.”
