Take a look at what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $200,000 Guy Walter Proven Thoroughbreds Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick.
Hugh Bowman (Forbidden Love): “She had form on rain-affected ground before but I didn’t quite know how it was going to pan out in the early stages. I couldn’t see where Tim was and nothing else was pushing up to lead, I thought I might be leading for the first 200m.
“As it panned out she got a nice trail behind Vangelic who took me right to inside the 300m mark and she was dominant late this filly.
“She’s not a big horse but she’s very competitive. She was unlucky not to win the Expressway and the form from that race has stood up really well so onward and upward for this mare into the Coolmore now.”

Jason Collett (Promise Of Success): “Worked home good. Got hung up there on straightening.”
Tim Clark (Vangelic): “Solid effort and she will improve off it.”
James McDonald (Icebath): “She just whacked away. Second up on that ground she didn’t come on.”
Chad Schofield (Shout The Bar): “Disappointing run. She didn’t respond for me up the straight.”
Sam Clipperton (Mirra Vision): “Good run. Track’s too heavy but she is on target.”
Nash Rawiller (Kiku): “She did a great job. She was slow away again which was unfortunate.”
Tom Sherry (Harmony Rose): “Good run. Just didn’t handle the heavy conditions.”
