Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Asahi Super Dry Expressway Stakes (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
Jordan Childs (Magic Time): “My strike rate over the last few years, every time I come up here I seem to get a result. It makes it easier when you’re coming for the right horses but definitely happy to be here today.
“I’m sure I’ll be back up here.
“On paper we thought she’d land outside the leader or be right there, but she just got away a little bit sticky and I didn’t want to press her to hold a spot because she can get a little bit fired up, especially being fresh.
“I had to go to Plan B. We ended up in a sticky spot. She always gave me a feel that once I did get out she was going to explode, but I had to wait my turn and trust her and when she did get out she was just too good for them.”

Josh Parr (Iowna Merc): “Terrific effort from him, wasn’t it? He’s met a proper bunch of horses there today and nearly beat them. So good effort."
Kerrin McEvoy (Joliestar): “She ran great, it was just a case of not a lot of tempo and I wasn’t able to get her switched off with any cover. So, presented well as we asked her at the 300m and was game in defeat. Look for her to improve and with better running next time she’s going to be hard to beat.”
Tyler Schiller (Airman): “I thought it was a good run first-up. Dashed up, exposed to the inside like he was going to really quicken through and then they probably just found a little bit more than him late. But he’ll improve off that.
Tim Clark (Givemethebeatboys): “I know he has run sixth of six there but he wasn’t beaten far and I think there’s some positives to take out of the run. He’ll take great benefit from it.”
Jason Collett (Olentia): “Good return. Had the back of the favourite on straightening and thought I was the winner but probably 1400 metres is going to be her go.”
