Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 3 $250,000 Racing And Sports Doncaster Prelude (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Tommy Berry (Just Folk): “He flopped around in the gates and sometimes older horses need a wake up so I did that before we went in and he flew the gates and thought I’d ride him like an older horse - tough and hard - and I know Nash usually rides him.
“I had to bring out the inner Nash in me and he was too tough today.
“I felt that if I could drag the sprint out of them because he doesn’t have a lot of change up speed from what I have been told so I didn’t leave a lot of change up speed there.
“He was a deserved winner and did it at both ends.”

Rachel King (New Endeavour): “Super run. He couldn’t be going any better. Probably just the tempo of the race was a little bit quick for him.”
Tyler Schiller (Ducasse): “I was happy with his run. We were hoping to be a touch more forward. He sort of fumbled the start. I felt they were going a good gallop anyway.”
Chad Schofield (Amenable): “I got stuck behind a speed bump around the bend so I couldn’t build into the straight. When I did find room he just battled on.”
Damian Lane (Rediener): “He had a bad run.”
Zac Lloyd (Willaidow): “Something not right with him.”
Nash Rawiller (Encap): “Just got detached there a little bit. He tangled himself up there early. Really to try and pull five lengths off them down the back was going to be carrots I didn’t have at the end. I let him come into the race. I thought he found the line well. He is going good. A bit better track will help him.”
Tim Clark (Sandpaper): “Honest effort. He is probably not at his best on that ground.”
Jason Collett (Berkshire Shadow): “Disappointing. Had a good run. Just wasn’t able to give me much up the straight.”
Harry Coffey (Sibaaq): “He had a tough run but whacked away OK in the straight.”
Jay Ford (Glint Of Silver): “He had a good run in transit. But he was disappointing today.”
