Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 1 $600,000 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Jason Collett (Lighthouse): “I had a perfect run. I probably wanted to be just behind the speed but there were a couple that were just too quick. I ended up getting into a good spot and when I pushed the button I quickened nicely. I got to the front at the furlong and thought I could be in trouble but had enough break on them.
“They’ve gone through the grades and found a really suitable race here. A very good effort, I’m very thankful for the ride.”

Sam Clipperton (Mirra Vision): “Couldn’t have been more proud of her.”
William Pike (Hinged): “Very good run. I got caught in the cheap seats. She was fantastic.”
Brenton Avdulla (Polly Grey): “I don’t think she backed up well. She raced a bit flat I thought.”
Tim Clark (Vangelic): “She ran honestly. Just felt the pinch late, second up, 1500m with that weight.”
Tom Sherry (Expat): “Super effort. She tried very hard. I think a mile on testing ground is probably as far as she wants. It was a good effort.”
Tommy Berry (Wandabaa): “Very honest effort. She ran great.”
Kathy O'Hara (Atishu): “Needs to work on her barrier manners.”
Rachel King (Promise Of Success): “Really good run. She definitely has more big races in her.”
Tyler Schiller (Yes Baby Yes): “Just a bit too tough for her today.”
Jay Ford (Espiona): “She didn’t jump again which proved very costly. We weren’t able to capitalise on the good draw. Obviously we were well back. She did find the line OK. Just needs to iron out the kinks.”
Quayde Krogh (Cap Estel): “Just didn’t handle the rise in class on that track.”
