Find out what the jockeys made of their mounts after the Group 2 $300,000 Daily Press Chelmsford Stakes (1600m) at Royal Randwick.
Tommy Berry (Buckaroo): “Really good, he was a little bit colty out the back and he's been slow away but he’s been gelded this prep and he's really made a statement today.
“Chris [Waller] just said, 'Look if you can get him to jump today, put him into the race and let him know it's game on,' and he was brilliant today, so he really deserved that win.
“I thought I just got him but I'm a bad judge, especially when you've got Nash breathing down your neck he just throws them over the line.”

Nash Rawiller (Hinged): “She is a great mare. Tried her backside off. Felt like she might have hit the front a stride before and a stride after so happy with the way she has returned. I actually think she will be better suited again when she gets into a super high pressure race. What that is I am not sure. We tried to be as positive on her today. Still her turn of foot let her down a bit. Her strength will get her home in one of these.”
Harry Coffey (Nonconformist): “Really good run. Good to see him return like that. The best part of his race was the last 100m so that is important.”
Tim Clark (Military Mission): “Nice run for a horse better suited when he gets to 2400m.”
Dylan Gibbons (Adelaide River): “I think we are getting back to near his best. Shame it wasn’t a fair deck to see how well he has really gone. Be surprised if many horses have made as much ground as he has today.”
Rachel King (Just Fine): “Really proud of him today. He appreciated the step up and will take plenty of improvement. He is definitely getting back to his best.”
Jason Collett (Athabascan): “Lovely return. Ran well.”
Tyler Schiller (Francesco Guardi): “Great run today. He is probably looking for that 2000/2400 but was really impressed with him. He just missed the kick a little bit but if he can put himself in the race next start he will be running a good race.”
Adam Hyeronimus (Poptronic): “Disappointing. Probably the firm track.”
James McDonald (Zardozi): “We had a good run in the race. She just didn’t produce the goods. I don’t know.”
