Jean Van Overmeire Jumps To Lead In Rising Star Series
Apprentice Jean Van Overmeire is the early leader in the 2017/18 Racing NSW Rising Star Series after winning the opening heat at Nowra today in a thrilling three-way finish. Van Overmeire (on Eminence, $3.70) beat home a field of six to claim the opener with Rachel King (Smiling All, $9) second and Nysssa Burrells (From Pentridge, $21) finishing third.
