Race 2 3. Flying Jess - Raced further forward than at its most recent start. Rider explained that after being caught wide he elected to ride his mount forward to be closer to the rail. Screamarr - Held up for a clear run between the 400 metres and until shifting to the outside of another runner near the 150 metres. Approaching the 150 metres lay in towards the heels of another runner obliging the rider to stop riding and straighten the gelding. Rider reported that his mount settled further back than expected as he did not have the early speed.
