Barrier attendant Rick Fraser was kicked in his right thigh while loading horses into the Barriers in race 8 at Gosford on ANZAC Day. He sustained a deep laceration and was taken to Gosford Hospital for further treatment.
Update on Thursday 26th April: Rick was discharged from hospital this morning. Scans have cleared him of any breaks but has a bad cork to the thigh which will be treated with some pain medication. Rick will be off work for the next few days as part of his recovery from the incident.
