Illawarra Turf Club (ITC-Kembla Grange) is pleased to announce the appointment of a new racing manager following the impending retirement of the long-standing Michael Craig.
Zane Campbell, who has 17 years industry experience as a raceday judge, will begin at the ITC today (22nd April 2024) under the watch of Craig, who will finish up by the end of the financial year.
Craig has professionally led the racing department for more than 25 years and will help to transition Campbell into the role.
ITC chief executive officer, Steven Keene said it was a great way to ensure a seamless handover for a crucial role at the race club.
“The ITC looks forward to Zane starting with the club and this new chapter for the club,” Mr Keene said.
“Zane’s enthusiasm for the role and his racing knowledge will ensure the racing department at Kembla Grange continues to operate smoothly.
“The handover between Michael and Zane is a testament to Michael’s dedication to the club and a solid indication for the future.”
