Gary Harley's Last Word - Wyong (Thurs)

By Gary Harley

The $200,000 Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic has attracted a crackerjack field of juveniles to the Central Coast on Thursday. The second, third and fourth favourite for the Gold Coast Magic Millions next month are all heading to Wyong.

They are with their current Gold Coast price in brackets – Bondi ($8) Terminology ($8) and Jonker ($11).

In Thursdays Wyong Magic Millions Terminology went up at $2.80 immediately acceptances were declared.

The Newcastle colt Jonker was a $3 second favourite ahead of Bondi ($4.20) and the South Australian filly La Pomme De Pin ($9).

Jonker has blistering speed and he backed up a brilliant barrier trial win with an outstanding debut win in the recent Max Lees Classic at Newcastle.

Terminology has a huge rap on her following two recent barrier trial wins, the last by 10 lengths.

Bondi was runner up in the Breeders Plate and he was narrowly beaten in a recent Wyong trial.

La Pomme De Pin bolted in to win last month’s Ballarat Magic Millions.

Arbeitsam is a bold frontrunner who won three on the trot before a spell. Single Bullet was poleaxed first up at Rosehill.
