Racing NSW Steward, Danny Greer, has reported that jockey Daniel Pitomac was dislodged shortly after the start when his mount Murdle Court bucked during a Scone barrier trial on Tuesday.
Daniel was conscious and complaining of pain to his lower back. He was transported to Scone Hospital for further treatment.
Update at 10am on Thursday 10th August: Daniel was discharged from John Hunter Hospital this morning. All soft tissue injuries were in the spine and also his shoulder injury with Dr Duckworth likely to see Daniel next week.
Update at 9pm on Tuesday 8th August: Racing NSW's Dr David Duckworth has reported that Daniel was transported to John Hunter Hospital, from Scone Hospital, for scans on his back. Results will be known tomorrow morning.
