Racing NSW Steward, Ray Livingstone, has reported jockey Deanne Panya was dislodged at around the 250m mark during race 2 at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.
Deanne was unconscious for a brief period before regaining consciousness. She was transported to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.
Update at 9am on Sunday, 29 January 2017: Racing NSW's Dr David Duckworth has reported Deanne was admitted overnight ato Westmead Hospital. Deanne needs a deep laceration on her chin sutured, possibly in theatre. Dr Duckworth will speak to Deanne's partner tomorrow about her collarbone fracture and decide if further treatment is necessary.
Update at 7.15pm on Saturday, 28 January 2017: Deanne has been diagnosed with a broken collarbone and deep lacerations on her chin. Other scans appear to be clear.
