Newcastle Jockey Club Ltd. (NJC) is the leading NSW Provincial Thoroughbred Racing Club employing both permanent and casual staff across a range of racing, administrative and hospitality activities at Newcastle Racecourse.
NJC is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified professionals to oversee all aspects of the Racecourse and Facilities planning, management and maintenance.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Racecourse and Facilities Manager will be responsible for efficiently managing NJC's racing, stable and training facilities, overseeing all track, maintenance and racing staff and operations, and playing a pivotal role in the future development of the club's racing and training facilities.
Working in a business-like manner to achieve outcomes within agreed budgets and KPI’s will be the key to success.
NJC strives to deliver the best possible racing and training surfaces for all race meetings, barrier trials, jump-outs and daily horse training activities, and maintain superior grounds and gardens at Newcastle Racecourse for both participants and patrons.
The role will also include managing the provision and maintenance of stabling facilities at Newcastle Racecourse.
