Adam Hyeronimus has had seven rides on Ecuador for five wins. It’s a phenomenal record which was added to in the $150,000 Listed Carrington Stakes at Randwick.
“All he does is seem to win for me so I’ll take it,” said Hyeronimus.
“They rolled along at a nice enough tempo for me and I was able to slip up the fence and get to the outside. He has done that very easily and pulled up like he could go around again."
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained galloper has returned in terrific order ahead of the autumn, putting together back-to-back wins but the stable are still wondering themselves where he fits into the picture as far as the carnival goes.
“We might have to up our sights over the autumn now,” Bott said.
“Last campaign he had some good form around Listed and Group Three races but hopefully this time around with the right placement, we’ll be able to win a nice race with him. The options open up for him from here.
“He is doing tough, carrying the weight and running strong through the line. He is a happy horse.”
