Distance Amendment - Hunter Stayers Cup - 12 August 2017
The Hunter Stayers Cup Benchmark 70 Handicap which was to be run over 3200m will now be conducted over 2900m.
As this was to be the first running over 3200m on the course proper since the renovation, Stewards discovered that due to the lay of the land it was impossible for the tractor and barriers to negotiate the rise from the Course Proper onto the ambulance track and then again onto the Beaumont track.
