Benefit For Family Of Jockey Darren Jones (Thurs 24 Aug) - Auction Catalogue

Tamworth Jockey Club will host a benefit night for the family of late jockey Darren Jones on Thursday, 24th August 2017. The event will be held at the racecourse and will be hosted by Sky Racing's Greg Radley and will commence at 6pm.

Leading Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman and legendary former jockey Malcolm Johnston will be guest speakers on the night. Tickets are $50 each and include finger food. Children are welcome and can attend for free.

Darren lost his life in a race fall at Warialda on 8th April this year. Two other jockeys were also seriously injured. Darren was just 48 and had been riding for more than 30 years. Proceeds from the benefit night will go to Darren's wife and two young children.

If unable to attend but you wish to donate to the cause, donations can be made to the Darren Jones Family Appeal (BSB:932 000, Account No: 000753692). Click here to view the extensive Auction Catalogue
