Australian Turf Club Honours Racing Broadcaster Andrew Bensley

The Australian Turf Club has paid tribute to highly respected broadcaster and journalist Andrew Bensley following his retirement from Sky Racing and TABCORP.

Mr Bensley had a highly successful 21-year career on television, radio and social media platforms with SKY Racing and Sky Sports Radio before his final day on air last Saturday.

Australian Turf Club Chairman Matthew McGrath thanked and congratulated Mr Bensley on his stellar career covering the Australian racing industry.

Mr Bensley will be awarded an Honorary Membership of the Australian Turf Club in recognition of his work and retirement.

“Andrew Bensley gained huge respect within the racing industry and its participants but also most importantly countless numbers of our customers and punters,” Mr McGrath said.

“He expertly reported on racing over many years as well as giving people a great deal of entertainment along the way.

“The Australian Turf Club congratulates Andrew on this wonderful career and in particular for his coverage of Sydney and NSW racing on all media platforms.”
