Selections based on a good track.
Race 1 - 2:55PM PRECISE AIR HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |

5. Idle Flyer backed up her first-up effort at Kembla Grange with a strong closing finish over 1250m last start at the Kensington getting the better of 1. Metaphorically. She looks suited stepping up to 1400m and maps to get a similar run again midfield. She is ready for a peak performance third-up into her preparation and looks the one to beat.
Dangers: 1. Metaphorically stuck on gamely last start over 1250m and can make his own luck on speed. 8. Highly Tempted doesn't have the same depth of form but has a chance in the small field.
How to play it: 5. Idle Flyer WIN ($1.50 TAB Fixed Odds)
Race 2 - 3:30PM 2025 STUD AND STABLE STAFF AWARDS PLATE (1200 METRES) |

8. Spaceballs was very green in her first racing preparation when having no luck on debut behind subsequent Gosford Guineas winner Dance To The Boom at Kembla Grange. She improved at her second start at Hawkesbury but was wayward over the concluding stages running second behind Pinitio which ties her form into the favourite 1. Conchiero. Both of her trials this preparation have been those of a more mature filly and she maps to get a soft run from an inside draw with Tim Clark aboard.
Dangers: 1. Conchiero was competitive in a super maiden at the end of his campaign over 1300m at Warwick Farm behind Shohisha. He has trialled up ok for his return and maps to find the front. 5. Wal’s Me Mate was brave last start over 1250m at the Kensington track and will run his usual honest race again. 4. Vin Santo is next best on debut.
How to play it: 8. Spaceballs EACH-WAY ($5.50 TAB Fixed Odds)
Race 3 - 4:05PM ASAHI SUPER DRY HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |

6. Sakima resumes first-up for the Peter Snowden yard and brings solid three-year old Stakes form from last preparation into this race. She was able to get some black type when running third in the Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m) which reads well for a race like this. She is drawn to get the run of the race from an inside barrier and the addition of winkers should sharpen her up.
Dangers: 5. Winchester was competitive first-up behind Polyglot over 1100m at Rosehill. He is drawn to take up the running from an inside gate and will be hard to catch. 2. Super Bright will appreciate the drop back to a Bm72 after running well in Saturday company last start. She possesses a good turn of speed and can make her presence felt with the claim. 4. Chief Conductor is next best.
How to play it: 6. Sakima WIN ($3.60 TAB Fixed Odds)
Race 4 - 4:40PM PINATUBO FIRST YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1100 METRES) |
---|
7. To The Extreme looks poised to run a big race resuming for the Ron Quinton stable after two eye-catching trials this preparation. The four-year old daughter of Extreme Choice was honest last preparation when racing on wet tracks at both Kembla Grange and Canterbury just struggling to finish off her races with big weights. She is drawn to get a nice run midfield for apprentice Madeline Owen and will appreciate the fast tempo up front.
Dangers: 10. Altercation hasn’t had the best of luck this preparation when placed behind Photographics and Alliri. She is drawn for a soft run midfield and can atone here for Zac Wadick. 4. Opal Fields and 9. Emilia Jane will both enjoy the anticipated good speed up front and can sprint well here.
How to play it: 7. To The Extreme WIN ($4.60 TAB Fixed Odds)
Race 5 - 5:15PM OLE KIRK FIRST YEARLINGS HANDICAP (2400 METRES) |
---|
6. Akkadian Emperor battled away fairly last start behind Tajanis over 2400m at Rosehill and will appreciate getting back to a firm track where both of his career wins have come. He would have derived benefit from having a start at 2400m and is capable of sharp improvement with 54.5kg on his back.
Dangers: 7. Investment ticked the 2400m box last start when a strong winner at Kembla Grange. This is harder stepping up to midweek grade but she will appreciate getting back to her home track and maps to do no work in the run. 5. O’Ziggy was brave on pace last start at Rosehill Gardens behind stablemate Our Anchorage and gets here on the quick backup. The rise to 2400m is a question mark but the Baker stable is in form and has to be respected. 2. Fulfilled is next best and can improve after pulling up with mild heat stress last start.
How to play it: 6. Akkadian Emperor EACH-WAY ($6.00 TAB Fixed Odds)
Race 6 - 5:50PM TAB HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |

1.Noble Conqueror will appreciate the drop back to midweek grade after getting too far back last start over 1400m at Randwick. His prior form behind Yorkshire in Bm78 grade reads well for a race like this and he gets the services of James McDonald which aids his winning chances.
Dangers: 5. It’s a Knockout was a dominant winner over 1500m at the end of her first racing preparation in Saturday company. She resumes here and her trials indicate she will appreciate 1400m. Expect her to push forward from the wide draw. 2. Capital Asset and 7. Pioneer Lass are knockout chances.
How to play it: 1. Noble Conqueror EACH- WAY ($5.00 TAB Fixed Odds)
