International racing and breeding giant Darley stallions has extended its partnership with Australian Turf Club’s premier Everest Carnival feature series for three-year-old fillies for a further three years.

Darley has again secured naming rights to each of the four legs of the Darley Princess Series to be run at Royal Randwick in August, September and October.

The Darley Princess Series starts this Saturday at Royal Randwick with the running of the Group 2 $200,000 Darley Silver Shadow Stakes.

Under the partnership with the Australian Turf Club, Darley will offer the breeder of the winner from each of the four legs of the series a free service to some of its leading stallions, giving breeders, owners and trainers an extra incentive to target four Group races in Sydney.

The Darley Princess Series at Royal Randwick consists of four legs:

• Group 2 $200,000 Darley Silver Shadow Stakes over 1200m on Saturday 24 August
• Group 2 $200,000 Darley Furious Stakes over 1200m on Saturday 7 September
• Group 2 $200,000 Darley Tea Rose Stakes over 1400m on Saturday 21 September
• Group 1 $500,000 Darley Flight Stakes over 1600m on Saturday 5 October

The winning breeder from the individual races will receive a free 2019 or 2020 nomination to Darley stallions Harry Angel (Silver Shadow Stakes), Ribchester (Furious Stakes), Impending (Tea Rose Stakes) and Kementari (Flight Stakes).

As an added incentive, the overall winning filly of the series will also earn a free nomination to a stallion of their choice on the Darley roster in the year she retires from racing.
