The racing industry has brought plenty of Christmas cheer to children across Sydney this week with visits to the Sydney Children’s Hospital on Tuesday and Westmead Children’s Hospital on Friday.
Visiting Randwick Children's Hospital visit on Tuesday were Kerrin McEvoy, Tommy Berry (Santa), Molly Bourke and Jessica Drury.
And leading Friday’s visit to Westmead Hospital on Friday were Andrew Adkins, Malcolm Fitzgerald (Santa) and members of Racing NSW including a few of the Marketing team.
Ex-jockey Malcolm Fitzgerald commenced the annual initiative 29 years ago with racing photographer Steve Hart.
“We are thrilled to be able to visit the hospitals following a great contribution from Racing NSW that has helped us considerably," Fitzgerald said.
"Special thanks to to Peter V’landys for making it possible. " Fitzgerald added.
