Racing NSW Stewards have acceded to a request from jockey Nash Rawiller to amended the dates of the suspension he incurred for careless riding at the Kensington Track race meeting conducted on Wednesday, 17 March 2021.
Nash Rawiller's license to ride in races is now suspended for a period to commence on Friday, 26 March 2021 and to expire on Sunday, 4 April 2021, on which day he may ride.
This matter is subject to an appeal which will be heard on Thursday, 25 March 2021.
The provisions of LR107(2)(e) provides the Appeal Panel with the discretion to defer the commencement of any suspension for two days.
The Stewards will make application at the appeal hearing that his suspension should commence after fulfilling his riding engagements on Golden Slipper day on Saturday, 27 March 2021.
