Jockeys Pay Christmas Visit To The Sydney Children’s Hospital

It’s that time of year when our racing stars pay a visit to The Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, a tradition which now has been in place for over 23 years.

Unfortunately, as has been the case in recent years, COVID has prevented Tommy Berry from suiting up as Santa and visiting the children in the wards.

But that didn’t stop Tommy and Tyler Schiller, with a little help from Tommy’s son Nate, to deliver a bunch of gift cards on behalf of the NSW Jockey’s Association.

Many thanks go to the boys for taking time out and to Tony Crisafi from NSWJA for doing the all-important shopping for the gifts.

It is certainly hoped Santa (aka Tommy) can be back in the wards again next year with his trolley full of Christmas presents for the well-deserving kids.
