Injured Trackwork Rider Update - Brent McGregor (Newcastle, Sat)
Racing NSW Steward Danny Greer has reported at Newcastle this morning, trackwork rider Brent McGregor was injured when his mount went amiss during a gallop.
Brent was treated on-course by ambulance officers and taken to John Hunter Hospital with a suspected broken left collarbone.
Update at 9am on Sunday (23rd December): Brent has an AC joint dislocation in his shoulder and some possible fractured ribs and remained in hospital overnight.
