Jockey Tommy Berry and apprentice jockey Teighan Worsnop were dislodged from their mounts during the last event in Race 9 at Royal Randwick today.
Teighan has been walking around and is experiencing no pain.
[Update at 9:15pm on Saturday]: Tommy is conscious and alert as he waits on results from scans at hospital.
[Update at 8:30am on Sunday]: Tommy Berry has a Cervical spine fracture that is being assessed by the neurosurgeon today. It is hopeful it can be treated just in a neck brace, but he is awaiting their assessment.
He will hopefully be discharged home today
