Please note the following:
Jockey Laura Cheshire was dislodged from her mount when it was fractious in the barriers prior to the running of Race 2 at Grafton on Sunday. She suffered an injury to her right shoulder and was transported to hospital.
Dylan Stanley was dislodged from his mount when it fell during the running of Race 6 at Tullibigeal Picnic races on Saturday. He was assessed by ambulance officers on course after complaining of back soreness, however, he was cleared to leave in the care of his partner.
Jockey Deborah Barton was dislodged from her mount in a barrier trial at Wellington on Friday. She had pain to her right knee and was taken to Dubbo Hospital by her partner after feeling unwell. She had precautionary x-rays.
Apprentice jockey Nyssa Burrells was involved in a race fall during Race 6 at Albury on Thursday. Nyssa was transported to Albury Hospital.
[Update at 3pm on Friday]: Nyssa has been discharged from hospital and is expected to be stood down from riding for at least eight weeks after suffering compression fractures in her back. Nyssa also suffered a concussion.
[Update at 11am on Friday]: Nyssa has suffered compression fractures of her back and is waiting on a treatment plan.
Jockey Jason Collett was involved in a race fall aboard Flambeur during the running of Race 4 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday 23rd March. Jason is conscious and is being treated by ambulance officers for a collarbone injury. He will most likely be transported to Liverpool Hospital.
[Update at midday on Thursday]: Jason underwent operative fixation of his clavicle today by Dr Duckworth. All went well and he will be discharged from hospital this afternoon. Jason will be out from riding for at least six weeks.
[Update at 8:40pm on Wednesday]: Jason has a fractured clavicle that requires surgery by Dr Duckworth tomorrow.
