Apprentice jockey Stephen Mooney was involved in a fall while riding trackwork for co-trainers Richard & Will Freedman at Rosehill on Tuesday morning (21st March).
Stephen has a suspected pelvis fracture and is currently awaiting scans.
[Update on Wednesday morning]: Stephen left hospital on Tuesday night and has suffered a fracture of his pelvis which will take six to eight weeks to resolve.
*NOTE: Stephen was to have his first race ride on Pharoah's Reign at Hawkesbury on Thursday (Race 6, No.1) but has since been replaced by Jasper Franklin.
