Jockey Stacey Metcalfe was dislodged from Mathematics on the way to the barriers for heat 11 of Friday's Wyong barrier trials.
Stacey was assessed by ambulance officers and has been cleared of any significant injuries. However, she has sustained a cut on her right leg and has general soreness. Stacey is going to Wyong Hospital for further treatment.
Update at 4:30pm on Monday, 23rd December: Stacey will not be riding for a further two weeks. She has been stood down to light duties in the interim as a result of her injured leg.
Update at 4:45pm on Friday, 20th December: Stacey has received stitches to a cut on her leg and as a result, she will be stood down from her rides over the weekend.
