Injured Rider Update - Jeff Penza (Wyong, Thursday)
Jockey Jeff Penza was dislodged from his mount at the 300m in Race 3 at Wyong on Thursday (15th June). Jeff has a shoulder injury and will be transported to hospital for further examination.
[Update at 4pm on Thursday]: Jeff has a fractured clavicle and needs surgery. He will be discharged from hospital in a sling and will see Dr Duckworth next week for surgery.
