Injured Rider Update - Grant Buckley (Wyong, 13th June)

Jockey Grant Buckley was injured after his horse reared over and fell on him in the mounting yard prior to Race 4 at Wyong on Thursday (13th June).

Grant is conscious and was attended to by ambulance officers before being airlifted to hospital for further examination.

[Update at 9pm]: Grant has a fractured pelvis and will require two operations in the next week to stabilise his pelvis.

[Update at 2pm Friday]: Grant had surgery this morning that went well. He is having more definitive surgery next week.
