Please note the following at Warwick Farm on Thursday morning (18th June).
Trackwork rider Jack Chard was dislodged when his horse bucked during jump outs at Warwick Farm this morning. Jack, who was riding for co-trainers Ciaron Maher & David Esutace, suffered an injury to his left shoulder and has been taken to Liverpool Hospital for scans and treatment.
[Update at 9am on Friday 19th June]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Jack has a clavicle fracture and will undergo surgery next week.
In a separate incident, Martha Pattison, a stablehand for Jason Coyle, was kicked while approaching a horse in the hose bay at Warwick Farm this morning. She suffered a suspected fracture to her left leg and has been taken to Liverpool Hospital for further treatment.
[Update at 9am on Friday 19th June]: Martha was released from hospital yesterday after being cleared of any breaks or fractures. She suffered soft tissue damage and swelling to her knee.
