Injured Pre-Apprentice - Mitch Stapleford (Wyong, Tuesday)

Pre-apprentice Mitch Stapleford struck his head while exiting the starting gates in Heat 10 at the Wyong barrier trials on Tuesday morning.

Mitch is experiencing pain to his neck and has been transported to hospital for further examination.

[Update at 2:20pm on Tuesday]: Mitch has been seen in hospital and all his scans are clear. He will be discharged for home this afternoon.
