Please note that shortly after the start of race 6 at Canterbury Park today, Josh Parr’s mount broke down and as a result, Josh was dislodged from his mount.
Josh was attended to by ambulance officers, transported to the first-aid room on course and received treatment for a left ankle injury. He was subsequently stood down for the remainder of his riding engagements.
Update at 4:50pm on Wednesday [2nd May]: Josh is still receiving treatment in the first-aid room to his left ankle and will not be riding at Wagga on Friday. Josh will need to provide a medical clearance to Racing NSW Stewards prior to resuming race riding on Saturday.
