Injured Jockey Update - Rachel Hunt (Kembla, Saturday)

 

Apprentice jockey Rachel Hunt was dislodged from her mount in Race 2 at Kembla Grange on Saturday. Rachel was conscious and complained of a headache while being treated by ambulance officers.

Update at 6pm on Saturday (1st December): Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported that Rachel Hunt suffered a mild concussion and has had scans clearing her of any major head injury. She will be discharged home from hospital soon and will be reviewed by Dr Duckworth during the week.
