Apprentice Ellen Hennessy - Stood Down From Riding

Racing NSW Stewards this afternoon interviewed apprentice jockey Ms Ellen Hennessy acting on information that she had breached the NSW Health Orders and Racing NSW COVID-19 policies by leaving home without a reasonable excuse.

Ms Hennessy confirmed that she had left home to visit a friend without a reasonable excuse to do so and consequently Racing NSW Stewards have stood Ms Hennessy down from riding until further notice.

Replacement riders for tomorrow’s Rosehill Gardens race meeting are as follows:

Race 1 No 4 – Never Listen: Brock Ryan

Race 2 No 19 – Whose Shout: TBA

Race 3 No 14 – Lovemetender: Robbie Dolan

Race 4 No 10 – Torrens: James Innes (Jnr)
