Licensed jockey Mathew Cahill has lodged an appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR137(a) after his ride on Philip in Race 2 (Tony Miller Windscreen Peak Hill Road Class 2 Plate, 800m) at Parkes Racecourse on Thursday, 31 January 2019. Following a Stewards inquiry, Mathew Cahill was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 10 February and to expire on Sunday, 24 February 2019 on which day he may ride. This appeal has been set for Friday, 8 February 2019 commencing at 9am.

Following a Stewards inquiry, Mr Collett was suspended for a period commencing Sunday, 10 February and to expire on Thursday, 21 February 2019 on which day he may ride. This appeal has been set for Friday, 8 February 2019 commencing at 10:30am.
