Tips For Gosford (Wednesday)

Rail is in the 3m Position and a Good 4 track condition will provide an even track.

Race 1 CLASS 1 HCP (1600m)
Keen on the Bjorn Baker trained 1. Kiss The Bride after a great return last start at Kembla Grange over 1400m where the gelding sat back and once balanced up late hit the line very strongly.

Dangers: 3. Single Story improved sharply last start when stepping up to the 1600m and would only need to produce a repeat of that performance to be thereabouts. 5. Mr Costigan will take plenty of confidence from the breakthrough win last start.

How to play it: Kiss The Bride WIN Odds & Evens: Odds

Race 2 MAIDEN SW (1100m)
The talented 7. Let It Pour looks to have returned in great order off a very impressive trial over 735m at Randwick where the filly sat back and showed a brilliant turn of foot late under no riding.

Dangers: The only danger to the short price favourite is the Lee Curtis trained 6. Giselle Anne, almost broke through last start trying to lead all the way over 1300m at Hawkesbury.

How to play it: Let It Pour & Giselle Anne Quinella Odds & Evens: Split

Race 3 MAIDEN HCP (1100m)
Nice return by 1. Matowatakpe last start over 1000m at Wyong, the gelding showed blistering speed when they jumped to take up the running and was only run down late.

Dangers: Liked the debut of the Snowden trained 5. Crimlet over 1200m at Gosford, sat just off the pace and hit the line well. 2. Pacific Ocean will be competitive coming off two trials wins and looks to be above average.

How to play it: Matowatakpe to WIN Odds & Evens: Odd

Race 4 3YO MAIDEN SW (1200m)
A few first starters here with all showing nice potential at the trials, very impressed with the trials of the John O’Shea trained filly 6. Lillemor highlighted by the latest trial over 1045m at Randwick wining by over four lengths.

Dangers: 5. Hyannis Port looks ready to go off the sole trial at Rosehill over 905m where she jumped straight to the front and was not tested to the line recording a nice win in solid time.

How to play it: Lillemor to WIN Odds & Evens: Split

Race 5 CLASS 2 HCP (1100m)
Lee Curtis trained 1. Blazing looks ready to go off a very nice trial over 1000m at Hawkesbury where the gelding never got out of first gear sitting handy to the speed.

Dangers: 2. Big Parade has shown great potential at two career starts and the trials leading in gives every indication the colt has improved with the time away from the races.

How to play it: Blazing to WIN Odds & Evens: Split

Race 6 BM70 HCP (1600m)

1.Allzin appeals here at each way value in a very even field over the 1600m, fought on well over 1600m last start in the same grade and staying at the distance here is ideal.

Dangers: 2. Monsieur Macron, has been running consistently and the step up to 1600m looks to suit, will be able to settle closer to the speed from an ideal barrier.

How to play it: Allzin EACH WAY Odds & Evens: Split

Race 7 BM64 HCP (1000m)

3. Edison raced in some high quality races last preparation against the like off Mandela, True Detective and Shadow Hero, expecting the colt to win here and be aimed at some bigger races this preparation.

Dangers: Brad Widdup trained 9. Lagarde should be peaking third up after a good run last start over the 1000m trying to lead all the way.

How to play it: Edison WIN Odds & Evens: Split
