Showcase Day Designed For Female Participants - Newcastle (Weds 28th Sept)

If you are interested in a career in the racing industry, you will be interested in the racing MAE showcase day in Newcastle on Wednesday 28th September.

About this event
Specifically designed for female participants between the ages of 16-64, the racing industry will showcase careers in the thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing industries. Come along to have a hands-on experience and hear leading female racing experts speak about career opportunities in the three codes.

Held on a trial raceday, you will experience the excitement of a raceday and see the industry in action. Candidates will receive information on careers such as jockey, stablehand, kennel hand, trackwork rider, steward, track maintenance, animal attendant as well as support careers such as farrier and equine dentist.

FREE networking lunch will give participants the opportunity to talk to employers and leading industry stakeholders such as Racing NSW, Harness Racing NSW, Greyhound Racing NSW and Thoroughbred Breeders NSW.

Post showcase day career/work experience matching services will also be provided to interested candidates in their local area. Places are limited and registrations are essential.
