Racing NSW is the representative body appointed for leadership and regulation of the thoroughbred horse racing throughout NSW. The Racing NSW Integrity Department employs:
An excellent opportunity has now arisen to obtain a traineeship within the Racing NSW Integrity Department. The traineeship is to be conducted through Racing NSW with the successful applicant undertaking a program with both on and off the job training within the Integrity Department (principally within the role of a Stipendiary Steward) and will undertake a Certificate IV – Racing Administration. Currently there are positions available based in Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, Dubbo, Grafton and Canberra.
Casual Swabbing Official positions are also available in most regional centres.

Applicants with practical horse skills and a genuine interest in thoroughbred racing are encouraged to apply.
Due to the inherent nature of a traineeship in the Integrity Department, your program will require you to work on a five out of seven-day roster basis (including weekend work) and attend venues and racecourses within the region of your employment.
Short listed applicants will undergo a probity check. The provision of disclosure statements and adherence to the Racing NSW Code of Conduct for Stipendiary Stewards/Integrity Officials are necessary requirements.
