Employment Opportunity – Property Manager (Sydney)

Full time role in Sydney CBD - salary negotiable based on experience.

Racing NSW is responsible for the leadership, supervision and regulation of Thoroughbred horse racing within NSW.

Working full time from our Sydney head office, we have an exciting opportunity to join a Property Department focused on managing the various properties owned by Racing NSW across the state. This new role provides an opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio of diverse and interesting assets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all leases are being appropriately managed at all times
  • Assist with the leasing of vacant properties
  • Oversee all maintenance in accordance with lease obligations, including procuring quotes, processing work orders and ensuring works are completed on time and on budget
  • Manage property related procurement processes, including working with suppliers to minimise costs and build partnerships
  • Manage the implementation of policies and procedures across property portfolio

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes/experience:

  • ‘Can do’ attitude and determination to get the job done
  • 3+ years' experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent office procedures & knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in administration tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposure to construction, real estate, or property management industries
