Facts and figures tell a lot about just how well a trainer is performing.
In the case of Brad Widdup it is A grade quality.
Widdup has had the type of start to his training career anyone would hope for with an endless list of winners.
The Hawkesbury based trainer will be looking to take it a step further on Saturday at Goulburn with Overreactive in the S & K Wilson Plumbing Benchmark 58 (1300m).
Overreactive is Widdup’s only starter and the well-bred daughter of Redoute’s Choice is likely to push for favouritism in the small five horse field.

A check of Widdup’s figures making for interesting reading.
He has had 13 winners from his past 50 starters which includes a run of four straight winners in September and a six win haul over 10 races.
Canberra jockey Brendan Ward is pleased to be having his first ride for Widdup whose family he has a close association with from his days as an apprentice jockey around the Albury region.
“I’m good mates with Brad’s brother Warren and I use to stay at the family’s place when I was an apprentice,” Ward said.
“Brad’s horses are going really well and I’m pleased to be on one of his horses for the first time.
“His whole stable is going well and it gives a jockey added confidence riding for a stable that is performing.”
Ward, who will have five rides at the meeting, rates Overreactive and Media Vita as his best winning chances.
Overreactive has only won the one race at Canberra and has been placed three other times from 10 starts.
The four-year-old has been placed at Nowra and Muswellbrook since winning in September.
“She looks a good chance the way she has been going,” Ward said.
There will be seven races at Goulburn with the track rated a Soft 6.
The meeting is an important lead in to the Goulburn Cup meeting on Sunday, November 26.
