ROYAL RANDWICK (Saturday 4th September)
Race 5, No.7 - STAR BOY: Trainer Brett Cavanough reported the gelding has undergone tie-back surgery since it last raced. The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Muswellbrook 18/1/21 and Gunnedah 10/8/21).
NEWCASTLE (Saturday 4th September)
Race 7, No.7 – LETTRE D’AMOUR: Co-Trainer Philippe Vigouroux reported that the mare was scratched from its engagement on the Randwick Kensington Track on Wednesday 1 September, when it was found to be suffering from an abscess in its off-fore hoof, which has since resolved. LETTRE D’AMOUR will be examined by the Club Veterinarian on arrival on course to determine its suitability to race.
GUNDAGAI (Sunday 5th September)
Race 2, No.8 - TIFF’S FINALE: Trainer Scott Collings reported that the mare has undergone tie-forward surgery after its last start (26 March 2021).
PORT MACQUARIE (Monday 6th September)
Race 7, No.9 – STARSKIN: Trainer Terry Drayton advised that the mare underwent a Caslick Procedure since its last start (Bendigo – 26/11/20).
QUEANBEYAN (Tuesday 7th September)
Race 3, No.5 - STAR SPARKS: The Waterhouse/Bott stable reported the gelding had a humeral stress fracture in its right front leg in December 2020. The horse has since met the requirements to pass the Racing NSW Policy on Fractures and Other Major Orthopaedic Injuries including a satisfactory barrier trial on two occasions (Wyong 2/8/21 and Randwick 20/8/21).
