WYONG (Saturday 9th November)
Race 3, No.2 - WAR STAR: The Waterhouse/Bott stable reported the gelding has undergone arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips from its off-fore knee since its last race start (6/1/23). The horse has subsequently trialled twice (Randwick 8/10/24 and 22/10/24).
Race 3, No.7 - CHEEKY DANCER: The mare (now trained by Ciaron Maher) sustained a right pelvic fracture and a humeral stress fracture of its near foreleg subsequent to its first barrier trial (23/9/22). The horse has since met the Racing Australia requirements for Major Orthopaedic Injuries including barrier trialling twice (Warwick Farm 30/9/24 and Rosehill 18/10/24).
ARMIDALE (Sunday 10th November)
Race 4, No.1 – WILD FLASH: Trainer Patrick Cleave reported the gelding has undergone surgery to remove part of the vocal cords. The horse has since trialled at Scone (30/10/24).
HAWKESBURY (Tuesday 12th November)
Race 1, No.4 - STING IN THE TAIL (NZ): The Chris Waller stable has advised the horse underwent epiglottic entrapment surgery in May 2024. The mare has since trialled on four occasions at Rosehill and Warwick Farm (11/6/24, 21/6/24, 15/10/24 and 29/10/24).
