Shayleigh Ingelse First From The Blocks In Rising Star Series

Newcastle-based Shayleigh Ingelse is the early leader of the 2022/23 Rising Star Series after taking out Heat 1 at Grafton on Wednesday (2nd November).

The 21-year-old partnered with the Jason Reilly-trained Franklin Corners ($4.20 favourite) to lead all-the-way and defeat Cassey Williams riding Taikun Tommy ($4.80) and Madeline Owen (Door Into Summer, $8).

Heat 2 of the Rising Star Series will be held at Port Macquarie on Thursday 10th November.
