Scone Races (Friday 8th Dec) - Moved To Gosford

The Scone race meeting scheduled for Friday (8th December) has been transferred to GOSFORD RACECOURSE due to a forecast of extreme heat.

The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is predicting a high of 40 degrees for Scone and in the interest of horse and participant welfare, the meeting has been moved to Gosford where more favourable weather conditions are forecast.

As a result the following race distance amendments apply:

Benchmark 58 Handicap, 900m - is now 1000m
Maiden Handicap, 900m - now 1000m
Maiden Plate, 1400m - now 1200m
Class 1 Handicap, 1300m - now 1200m
