NSW Race Meetings & Trials – Status (Due To Wet Weather)

Please note the following:

Port Macquarie Races (Thursday 31st March) - NOW ON MONDAY (Mon 4th April)
The Port Macquarie race meeting scheduled for Thursday will now be conducted on Monday 4th April. Racing NSW Stewards inspected the Port Macquarie track and deemed it unsuitable for racing following 60mls of rain overnight, however, the weather is forecast to improve significantly over the weekend. Fields remain unchanged for Monday's meeting.

Hawkesbury Trials (Friday 1st April) - ABANDONED
Hawkesbury's scheduled barrier trials on Friday have been abandoned. Following 95mls of rain over the last 48 hours, the Hawkesbury trial track has been deemed unsuitable for conducting trials with further rain forecast. As a result, Racing NSW and Australian Turf Club have scheduled a set of barrier trials at Warwick Farm (Polytrack Surface) on Friday (1st April).

Kembla Grange Races (Saturday 2nd April) - NOW AT GOULBURN
The Kembla Grange race meeting scheduled for Saturday (2nd April) has been transferred to Goulburn Racecourse. Racing NSW Stewards inspected the Kembla Grange track and deemed it unsuitable for racing. There are no race distance amendments.

Warialda Races (Saturday 2nd April) - RESCHEDULED TO SAT 30th APRIL
The Warialda Non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, 2nd April 2022 has been postponed due to the state of the track deemed unsuitable for racing. The meeting is now scheduled for Saturday, 30 April 2022.

Taree Races (Saturday 2nd April) - NOW AT GUNNEDAH
The Taree SKY2 race meeting scheduled for Saturday, 2nd April 2022 has been transferred to Gunnedah Racecourse. Racing NSW Stewards inspected the Taree track and deemed it unsuitable for racing following 30mm last 24 hours & 160mm last 7 days. There will be no amendments to race distances. Please note, as a result of the Non-TAB Warialda meeting postponed, Racing NSW have added a Benchmark 66 Handicap 1400m to this Gunnedah program.

Ballina Races (Tuesday 5th April) - NOW AT GRAFTON
The Ballina race meeting scheduled for Tuesday (5th April) has been transferred to Grafton Racecourse. Racing NSW Stewards inspected the Ballina track and deemed it unsuitable for racing following 145mls of rain during the last 24 hours and 297mls over the past seven days. As a result the following race distance amendments apply:
Benchmark 58 Hcp, 1300m - is now 1200m
Class 1 & Maiden Plate, 1900m - is now 2200m

Wyong Trials (Monday 11th April) - NOW AT MUSWELLBROOK (Weds 13th April)
Wyong's scheduled barrier trials on Monday 11th April have been moved to Muswellbrook on Wednesday 13th April.

Newcastle Races (Thursday 14th April) - NOW AT WYONG
The Newcastle race meeting scheduled for Thursday 14th April has been transferred to Wyong Racecourse. As a result the following race distance amendments apply:
Benchmark 64 Hcp, 900m - is now 1000m
Benchmark 64 Hcp, 2300m - is now 2100m
2yo Maiden Hcp, 900m - is now 1000m
