Jett Stanley Proves Too Good In Wagga Rising Star Heat

Apprentice Jett Stanley [pictured left] has claimed his first Rising Star Series victory after winning Heat 12 at Wagga on Thursday (5th January).

The 18-year-old saluted the judge first on board Kappy's Angel for trainer Gary Colvin, winning by more than seven lengths.

Stanley defeated Molly Bourke on runner-up Go Ellie Go and Coriah Keatings riding Soul Benefit.

Jasper Franklin maintains the Series lead with 23 points ahead of Dylan Gibbons (20) and Shayleigh Ingelse (19).

Heat 13 will be run at Nowra on Sunday 8th January.
